Q: How long have you been in business?

A: We were founded in 1989, and just celebrated our 30th year in business!

Q: Once I create an account, how do I get the reports?

A: For the U.S., Canada, and the majority of Europe, you can simply pick the report type you want, run a search, order and download the report instantly online. Developed International reports require an investigation and are delivered within 3 business days.

Q: How long does it take to get a report?

A: All of our reports are generated instantaneously upon ordering except for our Developed reports. Developed reports are delivered within 1-3 business days.

Q: What is the biggest difference between 'Comprehensive Reports' and 'Summary Reports'?

A: The biggest difference between these two report types is that Comprehensive Reports include trade payment information whereas Summary Reports do not. An example of this would be the $ amount that is associated with each trade line and how that trade line is being paid back.

Q: Do you have any sample reports?

A: Instead of providing a sample report on a random business, we prefer to do live walkthroughs of a report on one of your customers or prospects to show you the true power of our reports, but we can send you a generic sample report if you prefer. Q: Do I have to sign a contract?

A: No way! You are never locked in by contracts, commitments, or minimums.

Q: Do I have to purchase a certain amount of reports to keep an account?

A: Not at all! Whether you pull 1 report a year or 1,000, your account will always be here for you when you need it.

Q: What will my reports cost?

A: You can view our report prices on our Pricing page.

Q: Where can I find my report price list from within the platform?

A: Your report price list is available from within the platform by hovering over your name in the top right-hand corner, and selecting Report Prices. From there, you can also download your price list as a pdf.

Q: How do I pay for reports?

A: We give you the ability to pay for reports in whatever way works best for your business. You can pay per report, pay for all of the reports you pull at the end of the month via invoice, or you can prepay. We accept credit cards, Paypal, check, or ACH.

Q: How can I pay an invoice online?

A: If you are the Account Administrator, hover over Admin and select View Invoices/Pay my Bill. From there, click the checkbox to the right of the invoice or invoices you wish to pay, then select Make Payment.

Platform FAQs

Q: How do I add new users to the platform?

A: If you are the Account Administrator, hover over Admin in the navigation in the top right-hand corner, and select the Manage Users option from the dropdown. From there, you can add/delete users and update user information.

Q: The company I am looking for has a different address on file than what I've been given. Is this the correct file or is it a different company?

A: If an address differs from what you have on file, it is likely the address used to establish the file in the bureaus' database isn't up-to-date. In order for a company's correct address to be updated, they must contact the bureaus directly and notify them of the change.
In most cases, the trade payment information on the report is correct and does belong to the company you are searching for - even if the address is not current.

Q: I tried to order a report, but it appears to have failed. When I go to My Report History, the report is there, but the Report State is 'Incomplete'. What does this mean?

A: No worries! This simply means that there was an error when the system tried to generate the report. There was no charge to your account, so feel free to go back and try to run the report again.

Q: I ordered a report, but I don't see it anywhere. What do I do?

A: Simpy click My Report History in the navigation in the top right-hand corner. Every report you order is stored here. To download a report from your Report History, select the report you wish to download, and click Download at the bottom of the screen.

Q: What does 'DBT' mean on the report?

A: Commonly mistaken for 'debt', this term actually stands for 'Days Beyond Terms'.
