Children Are People, Inc.

Children Are People, Inc. provides a safe, structured space where at-risk youth, from kindergarten through high school, can learn, play and flourish - all without charging any fees to families! Children Are People works to remove barries to success, inspire character development, strengthen academic abilities and encourage community involvement. Over the last 20 years, Children Are People has transofmred the lives of thousands of young people throughout Sumner County.

Christmas 4 Kids

Christmas 4 Kids gives the joy of Christmas to thousands of Middle Tennessee children that might not otherwise experience it. Each year, more than 70 tour buses owned by celebrities and today's top artists pick up over 400 children and bring them to a Christmas party held in their honor. After the party, the children get back on the buses for a parade led by Santa and Mrs. Claus which ends at a Super Walmart where each child is given a brand new winter coat and $150 to buy anything they want!

Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption

Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy’s, was an outspoken loving advocate who believed every child deserves a safe, loving and permanent family, that no child should linger in foster care or leave the system without a permanent family, and that every child is adoptable. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption was established in 1992 to further his vision and funds adoption professionals, known as recruiters, who are dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for children waiting in foster care. In 2021 the Foundation was able to fund over 11,000+ adoptions!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Fellowship of Christian Athletes focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Since FCA’s values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence align with BCR’s values, we contribute to their scholarship fund to help send northern middle Tennessee girls to camp.

First Baptist Church of Gallatin - Starting Strong

Starting Strong is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church of Gallatin. The church provides brand new school clothes and accessories to children who come from tough economic situations. The program began in 2013 and served 75 children in the first year. Since then it has grown to helping hundreds of children in need!

Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1921, works with a comprehensive and diverse community to support, educate and engage member businesses and their needs. The Gallatin Area Chamber also serves as a portal to the community by acting as a welcome center and information hub for the Gallatin area.

Gallatin High School - Band, Baseball/Softball, HOSA, Soccer

BCR is proud to support Gallatin High School sports and student programs, such as Band, Baseball/Softball, HOSA and Soccer. Gallatin High School works to enrich the lives of over 1,500 students and give them a solid foundation for success.

Gallatin Lions Club – Journey For Sight

Organized in 1937, the Gallatin Lions Club serves their local community by focusing on vision screening, prevention and assistance especially in day cares, pre-schools and kindergartens. Since 1937, the Gallatin Lions Club has provided over 300,000+ pairs of glasses for those who are visually impaired! Each year they host the Journey For Sight (previously Gran Fondo) bicycle tour offering a 25k, 50k and took tour of Sumner County to raise money and awareness for sight.

Gallatin Miracle Park

Gallatin Miracle Park is the largest all-inclusive park in the state of Tennessee. The almost 6 acre park features a universal playground with ramps, wheelchair-accessible swings, a ball field, and zip lines, all designed for kids of all abilities. Business Credit Reports is a proud supporter of Miracle Park and its mission: to provide an A.D.A. compliant recreation area for those with mobility impairments, special needs, and the community as a whole.

Gallatin Police Department - Shop With A Cop

The Gallatin Police Department works to keep the citizens and visitors of Gallatin safe. They also give back to the community by participating in over 300 community events a year, including hosting the Shop With a Cop program. Shop With A Cop program pairs children from economically struggling families with members of Gallatin Police, Sumner County EMA and Sheriffs so that they can go Christmas shopping!

Green Wave Quarterback Club

The Green Wave Quarterback Club is a fundraising group dedicated to raising money and providing assistance to all Gallatin High School athletic programs. The club hosts numerous events yearly to raise funds, which have led to the newest soccer concession building, practice jerseys for teams in need, a facelift for the Greenwave Football Stadium and provided insurance for every Gallatin student athlete!

Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County

Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. The Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County has been building and renovating homes for deserving and low-income families since 1993. The chapter has put in over 12,000 volunteer hours, built 40+ homes, helped 65+ families and recently broke ground on their first full neighborhood in the city of Gallatin!

Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County - ReStore

Operated by the Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County, the ReStore is a home improvement store open to the public selling new and gently used building materials, appliances, cabinets, furniture, home décor and more at greatly reduced prices. 100% of all purchase proceeds go to supporting the Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County's mission of "bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope."

Knights of Columbus - Bike Ride Across Scenic Sumner (BRASS)

The Knights of ColumbusFor 30+ years, the Knights of Columbus have hosted the Bike Ride Across Scenic Sumner (BRASS), which supports charities all across Sumner County. With different length routes, BRASS provides a day of fun and exercise while raising money for charities that make a difference in our communites!

Middle Tennessee Council - Boy Scouts of America

Middle Tennessee Council - Boy Scouts of America works to foster the character development, citizenship training and physical fitness of young people through an emphasis on outdoor program experiences to prepare them to be responsible, contributing members of society over their liftime by instilling values based upon those found in the Scout Oath and Law. The Middle Tennessee Council offers five unique Scouting programs for youth ages 6 - 21, and each program uses proven methods of youth development to create a foundation of leadership, community service and self-reliance.

Sumner Spay & Neuter Alliance – Pedal for Paws

Formed in 2009 with the goal of reducing the suffering and death of dogs and cats as a result of pet overpopulation by making high quality, low cost spay/neuter services available to all residents of local communities.. Licensed veterinarians and an experienced staff use state of the art medical equipment for every surgical procedure at their Gallatin, TN facility. Each year they host the Pedal for Paws fundraiser across the seldrom ridden but very scenic rural Sumner County.

Volunteer State Community College

Volunteer State Community College, our local community college, has helped thousands of students across the state of Tennessee further their education Vol State is committed to building partnerships, strengtherning internal and external community engagement, and promoting diversity, cultural awareness and economic development to prepare students for successful careers, univeristy transfer, and meaningful civic participation in a global society. We are proud to support and sponsor the annual Vol State Golf Classic, Scholarship Fund and even the new Ogden Wing of the Warf building!
