Supporting communities through giving is core to our mission at Business Credit Reports. As we’ve grown over the years, we have come to recognize our responsibility to give back to our local community as well as organizations that help people across the country. We invite you to learn about the organizations and causes we support.
Bike Ride Across Scenic Sumner (BRASS)
A day of fun and exercise for the whole family, hosted by the Knights of Columbus. All proceeds go to various charities across Sumner County, and this year we were the Title Sponsor!
Christmas 4 Kids
Christmas 4 Kids gives the joy of Christmas to thousands of Middle Tennessee children that might not otherwise experience it. Each December, the BCR team joins other local businesses, volunteers, celebrities, recording artists, and bus drivers who set aside their busy schedules for these special children. Our entire team helps to chaperone 400 kids on a shopping spree at the Walmart in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption
Dave Thomas was the founder of Wendy’s. Dave was an outspoken loving advocate who believed every child should have a loving home, no child should leave foster care at age 18 without having been adopted and every child is adoptable. The Foundation exists to find homes for children who are waiting to be adopted from foster care in North America. We support an annual golf tournament for this great cause!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Fellowship of Christian Athletes focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Since FCA’s values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence align with BCR’s values, we contribute to their scholarship fund to help send northern middle Tennessee girls to camp.
Gallatin Lions Club – Gran Fondo
Gran Fondo is a road bicycle tour that offers a 25k , 50k and 100k tour of Sumner County. Good Neighbor Mission
BCR is proud to join other businesses, churches, civic organizations and individuals in support of the Good Neighbor Mission of Sumner County. The Mission provides housing to the working poor in our area. Since 1983, the Mission has promoted independence, self-sufficiency and long-term permanent housing solutions to clients while the families focus on stabilizing their lives, saving money and working on achieving job, housing and educational goals.
Habitat for Humanity
BCR is happy to contribute its time and financial resources with Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County, Tennessee. Since 1993, our local Habitat chapter has been building and renovating homes for deserving low-income families. The chapter has built over 40 homes to date and runs a local ReStore, which sells new and gently-used home improvement goods, furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. By 2016, the chapter will be on pace to build eight homes per year with the help of local contributors.
Habitat for Paws
We are all animal lovers here at BCR and when we heard about this wonderful, all volunteer organization we wanted to help. Mark Kohls donated a brand new dog house that he built and BCR pitched in Home Depot gift certificates to buy supplies. Habitat For Paws mission is to provide support and education for dog owners to break the cycle of suffering dogs living their lives on chains. Dogs living on chains are 3 times more likely to become aggressive, attack and bite. HFP helps to build fences, provide food, spay/neuter vet care, education and dog houses to pet owners in need. They establish clear expectations for becoming responsible pet owners and provide a checklist for guidance.
Nashville Chamber of Commerce

Starting Strong is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church of Gallatin. The church provides new clothes for deserving children in the Wesmoreland, Bethpage, and Gallatin school system. The program began in 2013 and served 75 children in the first year. This year, over 340 children were provided for!
Sumner Spay & Neuter Alliance – Pedal for Paws
Formed in 2009 with the goal of reducing the suffering and death of dogs and cats as a result of pet overpopulation, SSNA has one focus area and that is spay/neuter. Licensed veterinarians and an experienced staff use state of the art medical equipment for every surgical procedure at their Gallatin, TN facility.
TAD Disability Services
TAD Disability Services is an Australia-based charity that designs and builds custom equipment to enable people with disabilities to lead more independent lives. TAD’s Freedom Wheels modified bike program enables children with disabilities to ride a bike for the first time. Many of these children cannot walk but they can ride.
